2016 Trick or Treat
Halloween happens on October 31st every year and it is a famous holiday which people decorate their houses and children go trick or treating in costumes with their jack-o’- lanterns. It is also known as the “ghost festival” in the western countries; however, as scary as it may seem, the candies and laughter are what make this celebration rather entertaining.
Halloween has always been an important festival for Wagor Elementary School. Let’s take a closer look at what we have prepared for our students this year.
First of all, our faculty and staff have led the students to decorate the entire campus into a Halloween Wonderland, so when everybody walk into Wagor, they’re able to pick up the holiday atmosphere. Second, our foreign teachers have prepared lessons to teach students about the history of Halloween, students are also able to learn all about the traditions that happen on this special day. Last but not least, on October 28th, the English Department has organized a series of Halloween activities for our students, including rotation games, relay races, dance competitions, and much more.
The young Wagorians have gotten really creative in their costumes this year. Not only have they gone crazy for the candies we prepare, but also had an amazing experience on the day of the celebration. It was a successful event; most important of all, students had an amazing time getting to know more about the festival.
