2017 WABES Admittance Activity –Wagor GO 開啟孩子的未來

This year’s admittance activities at Wagor Academy Bilingual Elementary School were being organized on January 14^th and March 11^th, and we had a full house for both of the events. Parents were able to notice how passionate and energetic our faculties were during these events, especially the hard effort and diligence we put in to realizing our educational philosophy and giving our students the best possible learning experience. Both of the events started off with a general introduction of Wagor at the auditorium. Then, the parents were able to visit up to 12 different destinations to further understand our school in various perspectives through presentations and demonstrations given out by representatives of each department. They have had the opportunity to see fencing and hockey in action, demonstration of iWagor and science classes, fun activities conducted in Wagor Wonderland, and a detailed scope of Wagor’s Top-Notch English Expertise and Solid Chinese Foundation in school library and learning center. Parents were taken around for a campus tour while future students went through entrance exams. In addition, students were able to get a little taste of what the English classes are like and enjoy some fun at Wagor Wonderland in between classes. Our admittance activities were both successful with parents’ support and faculty’s great effort. Not only our future students had a blast, but their parents did, too.

葳格小學今年度1/14、3/11兩梯次小一新生體驗營場場爆滿，今年所有家長更感受到葳格全體教職員工的熱情與活力，我們更以最真誠及用心的辦學精神，讓當天每一位孩子與家長發現葳格美麗與葳格與眾不同的地方。

在既緊張又期待的父母手中牽著充滿好奇的孩子擠滿了報到會場，在熱情有活力的教師引導下進入充滿魔幻力量的葳格探索樂園中，孩子們即將展開一場愛與夢想的奇幻之旅。

此時視聽中心一樣擠滿著對未來充滿期盼的家長，在優美感人的合唱樂聲中，家長真實感受的葳格孩子的不一樣，更在校長生動的演說下，讓家長們感受到葳格對孩子的愛與對孩子未來的紮實規劃。接下來由研發長簡要說明學校辦學主軸，透過生動影像紀錄與校園互動小故事，讓家長充分了解全方位的葳格。

緊接著，本次特別安排家長進行最真實的校園接觸，讓家長見識到葳格最美的一面：當家長步入The Fantasized Jungle叢林藝術展裡，聽到鸚鵡翩翩起舞的聲響與花豹威武的吼聲，以及在叢林動物的伴隨下，撥開一片熱帶雨林的大樹葉後，就能發現處處充滿張力的學生作品，讓人置身在叢林裡體驗真實的視覺與聽覺的饗宴；當家長進入雙層蛋糕圖書館中，彷彿進入書香奇幻世界，親身體會本校學生中文教學的課程情境，體驗特色作文的美麗與魔幻；還有猶如魔幻師一般的自然科老師的教學演示，讓家長看見葳格在學習科學的趣味與紮實的科學原理教學；並透過科技教師說明未來科技教學的重要與iWagor App有趣教學，進而說明葳格對創新解決問題的能力培養的重視；西班牙廣場上遇見小將們擊劍時的爆發力震撼的動作、直排曲棍矯捷穿越的帥氣進門，展現葳格對孩子多元發展的重視；Learning Center擺滿了孩子們豐富學習的各式成果作品以及學校所使用的英文教科書和葳格獨有的補充教材；另一頭更可以看到今天參與體驗活動的孩子正聚精會神與外師共同創作美麗的藝術作品，還有來自丹麥的「變形巨蛋」、「探索城堡」、「大滑梯」、「探索城堡」、「土丘」、「布洛格子」、「浩瀚銀河」魔幻世界中穿梭，在孩子充滿陽光笑容的臉上，看見孩子的未來。今日的Wagor Go魔幻旅程孩子與家長體驗葳小平日真實的點點滴滴與紮實學習的痕跡。
