The counselor’s office at Wagor Elementary School cooperated with China Post this year by placing an actual mailbox on campus to enhance students’ learning experience during family appreciation month. Students had the opportunity to write a letter to express their gratitude and mail it back to their main guardians at home, with most of them being their dad and mom. Some stated that they would like to thank their mom the most because they’ve devoted a lot of time in taking care of the children in the family; while some stated that they would like to thank their dad the most because they’ve dedicated much of their time working in order to support the entire family. Principal of Wagor Elementary School quoted, “It doesn’t matter which family member our children express their appreciation to; most important of all, it is the process of learning the value of gratitude by expressing their words to their loved ones. These letters aren’t just composed of black ink and white paper; they are filled with meaningful words that deliver warmth and love. They are mailed to different houses in the city, from Wagor Elementary School.

溫馨五月天　飛鴿傳情

輔導室今年與中華郵政合作，申請活動式郵筒一只於5月2日進駐校園，讓孩子對家中主要照顧者的隻字片語，化為一張張充滿溫度的明信片，寄送到照顧者的手裡，藉此讓孩子充分表達出平常不好意思說出口的感恩之意。

今年度，學校特別將五月的季節，定調為「溫馨五月天」，只要是家中照顧者都是應該感恩的對象。在課間的訪問中，雖然說孩子們大部份仍以「我最想感謝的人是媽媽」回答，但亦有孩子童言童語說：「爸爸工作也很辛苦，我想感恩的對象是爸爸！」

　　校長表示，情意教學的重點，是在引導孩子們心中最美的善念，本次活動則透過書信的傳遞，讓孩子強化儒家精神中對父母的「敬」，是真誠發自於內心的感恩，並將之化為一紙傳情的方式來表達。而這些有溫度的文字，正在溫馨五月天的校園裡悄然展開，漫延在每個葳格的角落，葳格的孩子真棒！
