Cure Tooth Decay: Heal and Prevent Cavities

  Children’s day 2017 at Wagor has officially begun on 3/27 and our school has prepared various classes and activities to celebrate this special holiday with the students. To further educate them, we invited Taichung Dental Association to visit our school and promote the importance of protecting the teeth by preventing cavities to our students. The minister of Taichung Education Bureau, Mr. Peng, stated that “it is great to see the students of Wagor Elementary School to learn the importance of protecting their teeth through various games and fun activities”, he is pleased and honored to be invited to take a part of this event and hopes to join us again next year to revisit our students. The students are not only encouraged to brush their teeth more often, but also to use mouthwash after each cleanup to maintain healthy teeth. 

105學年度葳格小學兒童節慶祝周於3/27正式開跑，葳格小學教學團隊設計了多樣且豐富的課程嘉惠學子，讓葳格小學的校園充滿濃濃的兒童節歡樂氣息。

  台中市教育局局長彭富源在台中市牙醫師公會理事長羅界山及常務理事長黃怡仁的陪同下，參加於葳格小學由台中市牙醫師公會為推廣學童正確護齒觀念，委託中國醫藥大學牙醫學系系主任傅立志所帶領的口腔衛生推廣服務團隊來進行活動，同時也為葳格小學兒童節的慶祝活動揭開序幕。

  彭局長表示，看到葳格小學天真活潑的孩子，進行闖關遊戲，同時又能將保護牙齒的觀念融入於活動中，可說是寓教於樂的真實體現，而保持著良好的潔牙習慣，更是人生中一項重要的資產，同時還不忘與葳格小學的小朋友做了約定，明年他一定會再回來探望獲得台中市國小健康兒童的小朋友。

  葳格小學校長進一步說明，葳格小學常年由學校家長委員會大力贊助並推行貝式刷牙法，同時每週進行乙次氟水漱口，學生的齲齒率一直都是可以有效控制，當然全校老師親自帶領與大力推動更是功不可沒的一環，而借由本次的推廣活動，無非是讓葳格小學的孩子們更能無形的內化到自身的好習慣中，永保一口健康的牙齒。
