It Is Fun to Share! 城鄉交流學習趣

In the aboriginal Bunun language “Bunun ata taican ata” means “The music in our mind belongs to us.”

On November 13th, teachers and students from Nantou Wanfen Elementary School came to visit Wagor Bilingual Elementary school. During the visit, they wore Bunun traditional costumes and performed a Bunun tribal song called “Carefree Aborigines.” After that, our Wagor Elementary School Choir, sang “The Music in My Mind” in return. That song won them first place this year, bringing their winning streak to four years in a row.

Wu Kuan Tin, a fifth grader from Wanfen Elementary School said that he was moved by the beautiful voices and harmony of the Wagor Choir. Yang Shin Yu, a fourth grader at Wagor Bilingual Elementary School said that she was impressed by the Wanfen students’ bold performance.

Wanfen students also attended an English iWagor class. Wagor students’ from grade six were happy to help with translation and instructions. Li Hsi Hua, a fourth grader from Wanfen Elementary School said that learning how to use the App “MSQRD” to create his own digital character on iPad was an unforgettable experience for him. Tsai Neih Yu, a student at Wagor Bilingual Elementary School said that it was great to get to know these students and learn together with them.

The teachers and students of Wanfen Elementary School also enjoyed their lunch at Wagor. Mr. Shen, the principal of Wagor Bilingual Elementary School, and Mr. Gao, the principal of Wanfen Elementary School, said this sharing opportunity gave students from both schools a unique opportunity to learn valuable lessons from each other.

    當山林原音遇見城市美聲,絕對能激盪出最美妙的音樂響宴!

    南投縣萬豐國小師生前往台中市,與葳格附小合唱團切磋歌藝,並展現力與美的舞姿,博得滿堂彩。

    兩校交流當天,原住民學生穿著布農族傳統服飾,以部落老少都會高唱的「快樂無憂的原住民」為序曲,為葳格師生帶來視覺與聽覺的全新享受;屢獲音樂大賽佳績葳格合唱團,也以「The Music in My Mind」的音樂劇,讓布農孩子欣賞優美的合音,兩校師生透過歌聲,看見彼此的亮點。

    萬豐五年級的學生吳冠廷說,聽到葳格小朋友的歌聲,感覺就像到了天堂,被許多報唱佳音的小天使環繞,內心大受感動。

    葳格四年級的學生楊芯宇聽完萬豐國小的合唱表演,也激動的說,原本以為:合唱應該要規規矩矩的站在台上,沒想到萬豐國小能合力將族曲唱得奔放又豪邁,讓他羨慕。

    除音樂表演,英文科技體驗課程也讓萬豐的學生大開眼界。上英語互動課時,雖然無法立即聽懂外籍老師的解說,但透過葳格學伴同步翻譯,很快就了解課程內容。

    萬豐的學生李思華說,能在都市學習新課程,簡直像探險,在課程中學習MSQRD的APP,運用行動載具製作虛擬的AR互動臉譜,讓他難忘,更激勵自己要學好英文,將來能像葳格的學生,能說流暢的外語。葳格蔡念育說,能認識萬豐的部落美聲、與他們共同學習,已是成長紀錄一道美好的印記。

    午餐時間到,葳格善盡地主之誼,準備了豐盛的午餐,讓兩校賓主盡歡,證明這場聚會,不僅是城鄉學校相互觀摩、彼此學習的活動,也是友情的延續。

    萬豐國小校長高天龍說,城鄉交流,讓布農族的孩子感受語言與科技發展的便捷;葳格附小沈月清校長認為,山林孩子的純真,能讓城市的孩子學會自省,是有價值的潛在課程,值得推廣。
