This semester, on November 24, the counseling office invited a famous writer, Mr. Wei, to give parents a special speech, “Parent-child conversation skills”. More than 70 Wagor parents attended the speech. The Chairman of the Parents’ Advisory Committee, Ms. Lin, bought 20 of Mr. Wei’s new book The Faster the Earth Rotates, the Slower we Talk to our Children to give them to the parents attending the speech.

Mr. Wei ‘s interesting speech not only held all audience’s attention, but also pointed out the inefficient patterns of parent-child conversation in real life.

Mr. Wei pointed out that if we change the mode of dialogue, we can reduce the conflict that may happen in real life. Turn off the television and put the cell phone or iPad down when your child wants to converse, or when your child has something important to tell you. It is extremely important to really listen to your child and have a decent conversation with him or her. That is the key to improve the parent-child relationship.

Mr. Wei’s outstanding speech helped parents build up efficient principles of parent-child communication skills in daily life, as well as maintain good feelings in the family. The Parents’ Advisory Committee and the parents would like the counseling office to invite Mr. Wei to come back to give a speech again.

　　本學期於11月24日輔導室辦理乙場親職講座，本次邀請到親子天下專欄作家-澤爸，為與會的家長暢談親子對話技巧，講座吸引70位家長到校聆聽，而家長委員會林靜宜會長更是代表委員會，購買20本澤爸的新書「世界越快，對孩子說話要越慢」來贈送參與的家長。

　　澤爸以生動活潑的演講方式，並且不斷透過實際的例子與在座家長分享，還一針見血地勾勒出一般家庭中，為人父母所經常使用的語彙與對話模式，讓每位家長驚覺到這不就他們現在家中的寫照，但是澤爸更貼心地點出，當下其實若能轉換另一種對話方式，親子衝突的場景絕對會大大降低，同時還讓與會的家長馬上練習狀況裏的句型，家長無不感到受益匪淺，直呼回家後要開始練習改善親子關係。期間澤爸更是語重心長地指出，當父母若能在適當的時間放下3C產品，多點時間與孩子深度對話，肯定是增進親子關係的重要關鍵。

　　整場講座在澤爸充滿幽默風趣、唱作俱佳方式的傳遞中，使家長們個個在意猶未盡的氛圍裡結束，幾位家長不約而同地表示，這次講座真是受益良多，同時也希望學校可以再次邀請澤爸進行相關的講座。
