To teach our students the importance of reusing products to save our earth, Wagor elementary school hosted a charity flea market event last Friday. Students would bring pre-loved goods to school for this event. They can sell unwanted items from their homes such as books and toys while bargain hunters, other students, can stroll through the market to look for the best opportunities. Funds collected from this market will support Taiwan Fund for Children & Families. This was not only a charity event, but also a lesson taught to our students about the importance of caring and cherishing. Students are able to implement the lessons they learnt in the classroom through this event and learn to help the people who are in need. This is also the best event lesson from Wagor.

本年度生命教育系列活動傳承著去年「用愛心、做公益」的精神，延續辦理校內「愛心二手市集」活動。

這次，也邀請家長共同參與，從挑選物件開始，再到訂定合理的價格，最後再把物品帶到現場販售。整個活動進行中，學生透過推銷與買賣的體驗，更是將數學課程、社會課程以及綜合課程的綜合一一體現，讓教室裡的學習得以實際應用在生活裡。透過二手市集物品交流義賣的過程，每個物件大多有了新的歸宿，相信，這是環境教育中最樂見的狀況。

活動結合環境教育與生命教育等跨領域議題，目的是在引導孩子們落實地球資源的再運用與分享的概念外，更希望孩子們都可以從「心」做起，強化葳格學子對地球資源的愛護。整場的交易所得全數捐贈給「財團法人台灣兒童暨家扶基金會」（南台中家扶中心），以幫助弱勢族群，響應公益。

　　葳格的孩子是幸福的，在享受幸福的同時，透過愛心二手市集活動，讓孩子們更願意毫無保留的付出，將活動的體驗化成實質的愛心，同時幫助更需要幫助的人。這正是葳格教育中最深層的情意教學。
