To further enrich students’ knowledge of French culture in customs and etiquette, Wagor Elementary School organized a series of events and activities for our students that were brought by professionals of different fields. Just before children’s day, we invited the Little Frog Troupe to perform a play about a famous folktale to start warming our students up for the celebration. To further promote the events, our school also invited professionals to perform magic shows, circus tricks, and various artistic performances. In addition, we’ve implemented two weeks of thematic lessons about France prior to the actual holiday. Students had the opportunity to learn all the customs, traditions, music, and etiquette about this romantic and historical country. The final stage of this year’s children’s day celebration was the real dining experience in a simulated French fine dining restaurant built by student affairs office. The wonderful dining experience was done by the help of teachers and students from Food and Beverage Department in Wagor High School. We appreciate the support from the entire school faculty in Wagor Academy to really made things happen and created an amazing children’s day celebration for our students.

  葳格法國禮儀週上課如果就像聽故事一般、學校就像是表演廳一樣…，那麼上學上課就真的好玩囉。沒錯！今年的兒童節前夕，小青蛙兒童劇團將在葳格小學校園裡演出，學生們的上學真的就像去郊遊、上課就像聽故事、學習活動就像是劇團演出般精彩，校長在一開場就送給葳格孩子五項大禮，也希望孩子能為自己準備一項禮物來期勉自己在連假活動的規劃。

  葳格小學今年特別策劃了一個不一樣的兒童節慶祝週活動，舉辦了模範兒童暨健康兒童表揚大會，校長與家長委員會吳忠華會長也親切與每一位孩子留下合影，活動一開場邀請到出身雲門的舞立方為兒童節慶祝週活動揭開序幕。

  學校以「法國週」為主題，打造了「葳格法國廳」重現法國鄉村風的餐廳場景，特別結合體系餐飲科，讓孩子體驗法式餐點、禮儀教學；一連三天法式餐飲教學，場場精彩，座無虛席，藉由餐飲科專業的教學讓孩子們感受法式餐飲的細膩；本年度的家長委員會更大力贊助經費，結合本校藝文教育的推展，特別邀請舞立方、米爾可魔幻氣球魔術秀、精彩麻法泡泡秀、與台中知名小青蛙兒童劇團蒞校表演，演出中葳格的孩子個個歡喜雀躍，高興不已，為今年的兒童節留下美好的回憶。

  葳格小學校長表示，今年葳小的孩子有個精彩有趣的兒童周，要感謝小學部同仁用心的規劃與高中餐飲科的大力協助，更要謝謝學校家長委員會大力的支持及贊助經費；看到孩子們興高采烈的參與活動，和親師歡愉的親密互動，真是令人無比的感動。
