Messages of gratitude can be heard loud and clear these days. Being thankful is such an important practice to hold onto in this fast-paced world we live in. There are many ways to practically express gratitude in our lives. Our customary year-end gratitude activity this year was filled with music, love, and surprises. Students showed their gratitude to teachers and friends and let them know that their efforts and acts of kindness have been noticed by writing Chinese and English appreciation cards. 2020 has been difficult for everyone, but we hope that students will gradually make gratitude a part of their everyday routines.

　　葳格國際學校小學部西屯校區舉辦一場「歲末感恩 祈福禮物現溫情」儀式，同時結合生命教育與音樂社團的成果發表，為歡樂的聖誕節慶揭開序幕，讓溫馨氣氛環繞校園。

　　一開始由學校提琴社團獻藝，展現葳格學子才華洋溢的一面。而整場活動的最高潮則是在全校學童共同許下心願後，由校長、董事、家長會長合力揭開祈福禮物的儀式。禮物瞬間拆開的當下，呈現出氣球造型的聖誕老公公及各式雪人，使在場所有師生個個驚呼連連。最後在合唱團悠揚的樂音中劃下完美句號。

　　為了推動生命教育，學校12月設計的感恩活動，除了揭開聖誕禮物的祈福儀式外，還透過書寫中、英文感恩卡的實際行動，引發孩子懂得感恩並能夠表達感謝，進而成為一個知足、惜福的人。

　　整個活動所傳遞的核心價值，是希望藉由活動的進行，讓葳格的孩子學習「隨時保有一顆感恩的心」的人文精神。並在歲末充滿感恩和充滿歡樂的日子中，讓孩子用收禮物的心情去創造全新的未來。
