On the afternoon of March 14th, our school's Xitun campus welcomed a special visit from the Taichung City Government’s Shuinan Fire Brigade. They conducted fire safety and evacuation training for fifth-grade students. The training included three parts: An introduction to fire equipment and fire escape knowledge; hands-on practice with fire extinguishers; and experiencing smoke-filled rooms and evacuation procedures. For the training, students were divided into groups according to their classes.

The focus of this training was not only to provide general fire awareness and common knowledge, but also on giving students a hands-on experience of what it's like to encounter a fire. They had the opportunity to operate fire extinguishers and to experience entering smoke-filled rooms firsthand, while also learning how to evacuate safely.

Finally, Principal Shen reminded all students to strengthen their fire prevention and response knowledge, and to remember the principles of evacuation and refuge to ensure their own safety.

3月14日下午本校區特邀台中市政府消防局水湳分隊蒞臨，對五年級學童進行消防宣導與逃生知識。內容包括有：消防設備介紹與火場逃生知識、滅火器使用與實作、火場濃煙體驗與逃生等三個部分，並依班級分組進行循環操作。

     本次宣導重點，除了有一般消防認知與常識知識的講解外，其中更以實際操作的方式，讓參與宣導講座的同學可以感受到遇上火災時的臨場體驗，並且親自操作滅火器滅火，與進入濃煙體驗教室，體驗濃煙密布的現場與如何順利逃生

最後，葳格國際學校小學部西屯校區沈月清校長也提醒所有學童，強化自身火災預防及應變知識，並能夠謹記逃生避難原則，才能保障自己生命的安全。
