Say No to Bullying!

In recent years, bullying has become a worldwide problem in schools. At Wagor, we especially emphasize character education in order to teach our students not to bully others. To further this goal, we invited Mr. Lee, an instructor from the National Taiwan University of Sport, to give a lecture relating to preventing bullying and cyber libel.

Mr. Lee explained the definition of bullying and gave examples of common types of bullying using real cases so that it was easier for students to understand the laws governing bullying. He taught the students how to avoid getting more upset when they are being bullied. He advised not to handle conflicts by bullying others. Instead, students should tell their teachers or parents and ask for help, so they do not put themselves in precarious situations.

Social media has become an integral part of people’s lives. It is popular in our e-society and is commonly used among adults and children. Preventing cyberbullying and avoiding the harmful effects of being bullied because of our own improper language or behavior are essential skills that need to be taught and learned
