On December 9th, Wagor International School - Xitun campus invited Mr. Lu, who has held more than 6,000 storytelling events around Taiwan, to give the second graders a fantastic story feast.

Mr. Lu, known as Papa Lu, used anthropomorphic actions and animal masks as props to successfully capture the children’s attention while telling stories. With his loud and dramatic voice, body language and facial expressions, Papa Lu told one fantastic story after another.

When Papa Lu was on the stage, the children were all focused on him. The stories Papa Lu told made the children feel as if they were a part of the story. Through these stories, they learned how to face and solve problems and challenge themselves when they encounter difficulties.

At the end, Papa Lu said, “A book is like a parachute. You need to open it to discover its purpose and how it will benefit you.” He hoped this would awaken the dreams of stories which lie deep within the heart of each child.

Principal Shen commented that Papa Lu has dedicated himself to storytelling for ten years; he has brought happiness and shared his love with many children. Principal Shen hoped that all of our students would be inspired and strive to fulfill their dreams.

12月9日兒童朝會，邀請到全臺走透透完成六千多場故事演說的陸爸爸蒞臨葳格國際學校西屯校區小學部，與二年級的孩子們進行一場精采的故事饗宴。

    一開場，陸爸爸戴上了動物造型頭套，成功吸引了全場孩子目光，再配上他雄厚的聲音、豐富誇張的肢體語言及表情，時而變換不同角色的聲音語調，為全場孩子說演一則又一則精彩又饒富哲理的故事。

    陸爸爸賣力的說演故事帶來滿場歡笑聲，每位孩子聚精會神、目不轉睛的盯著舞台上的陸爸爸，跟著他遊歷故事情節，感受故事畫面就在眼前上演，更藉此學會了碰到問題，就要面對它、解決它、挑戰它的樂觀態度。

    最後，陸爸爸與現場的孩子們分享了一段話：｢一本書就像一個降落傘，一定要打開它，才知道它的功能和好處！｣希望喚起每位孩子心中的故事夢。

    沈月清校長親臨現場，對於10年來堅持以說故事為職志，到處散播歡樂分享愛的陸爸爸感到佩服，也希望葳格的孩子能像陸爸爸一樣，堅持夢想、築夢踏實。
