All the teachers, administrative staff, and the students worked really hard and cooperated harmoniously together. The process was not easy, but they attained the best result. The choir master, Ms. Wang, is the key to their continued success. Through her selection of the students and the contest songs, Ms. Wang showed great perseverance. With her passion for teaching, she managed to gradually take the students to the next level. Our students, of course, were also crucial to winning the contest. They put their hearts and souls into practicing and tried their best to follow their teacher’s directions.

The principal of Xitun campus, Mr. Shen, said, “One of Wagor’s core values is to encourage students to maintain their focus on everything they are doing. It is an important aspect of students’ learning attitude. This attitude will prompt all the teachers and students to keep moving forward.”

This remarkable victory has given the school a sense of glory and achievement in the field of the Arts. It is a great honor and delight for all Wagorians.

10月23日西屯校區小學部合唱團懷著戒慎恐懼心情參加台中市國小英語歌謠競賽，最終脫穎而出再次獲得第一名。這項殊榮是六年來的第五次，由認真教學的老師、合作無間的行政團隊，以及努力練習的參賽學生聯手出擊而來。雖然過程十分辛苦，但結果也不負眾望。

合唱團指導老師－王郁恩是本次的關鍵人物，從一開始的學生選拔、到競演歌曲的選擇，加上老師細膩又執著的教學熱忱，慢慢地將葳小合唱團推向另一個里程碑。當然，功不可沒的還是每位參與競賽的葳小孩子，他們在訓練的過程中，個個都是積極投入，力求做到老師指導的每個步驟與技巧。

西屯校區小學部校長沈月清表示：「葳格的核心價值之一，旨在激勵出孩子對待事物的專注精神，事實上那是一種學習的態度，也因為這樣的態度，驅使著全體葳格師生不斷地往前」。而這次比賽的成績，也讓本校藝文教育成果又再次譜出一段精彩的樂章，讓葳格師生津津樂道。
