Stop Bullying on the Spot

When adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior they send the message that it is not acceptable. Research shows this can stop bullying behavior over time. Parents, school staff, and other adults can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it, building a safe school environment, and creating a community-wide bullying prevention strategy. The administrative prosecutor, Mr. Liao, demonstrated some real-world cases to students. Training students to prevent and address bullying can help sustain bullying prevention efforts over time.

      本校小學部為建立友善校園，防制校園霸凌事件的發生，特別邀請廖三致檢事官蒞臨本校對高年級進行了一場「青少年法律常識面面觀-拒絕霸凌」相關反霸凌宣導，藉此讓高年級學生更進一步了解法律常識與避免霸凌的發生。

      廖檢事官在講座過程中，提供不少校園霸凌的真實案件讓學生一起認識校園暴力，討論校園安全問題，鼓勵學生在遭遇霸凌後勇敢說出口。現今社會青少年容易沉迷於手機使用，常透過更多通訊軟體或社群網站，在不知道嚴重後果下，留下了不恰當的言語，而造成了網路霸凌的狀況，甚至涉及犯罪的情形，這些都是要特別注意的地方。而一旦發生疑似霸凌的事件，一定要告知父母或師長，請求協助以遏止霸凌事件的發生。

      過修齊校長也指出，現在科技日新月異，小朋友使用電腦或手機的時間越來越長，接觸到的社群平台也越來越多，如何避免因為不當的言論造成可能違法或觸及霸凌的界線，是小朋友要學習與注意的一環。最後更希望透過廖檢事官的演說，小朋友能夠更謹言慎行，注意自己的言行與態度行為，適時幫助需要幫助的人，進而營造一個拒絕霸凌的友善葳格校園。
