Wagor International School, located in the Xitun district, celebrated its 22^nd founding anniversary with a spectacular sports day on November 25, 2023.

The opening ceremony kicked off with an energetic performance by the cheerleaders from the Continuing Education Department. Through innovative choreography and spirited movements, the cheerleading dance was performed with enthusiasm and liveliness. Following this, our school's street dance team took the stage, integrating the theme of this year's sports day, "Wagor Magic Academy," into a dance drama. They showcased uniformity, grace, and each child's expressive and dynamic presence, leaving the audience captivated.

Next, the entire school community transformed into wizards from the Wagor Magic Academy, creating a magnificent and creative atmosphere. The lively assembly dance performance, directed by Teacher Lin Wenyen, featured all second-grade students. They used a Harry Potter mini-theater to unlock the magic key and performed to the song "Busan Vacation," displaying the children's healthy and adorable appearance with delightful dance moves and radiant spirits.

The most astonishing moment of the opening ceremony was the appearance of the guardian magical creatures, "Wagor Magic Leopard" and "Wagor Power Potter." Together with Wagor's founder, board members, school administrators, and the enthusiastic Wagor children, they activated the magical stone. Finally, as all the students and teachers shouted, "Magic Activate, Wagor Sport~~~," the magical fire was ignited by the Wagor spell, bursting into colorful ribbons and vibrant balloons. Everyone watched in awe as the balloons gracefully ascended into the sky, marking the official start of the Wagor Magic Academy's fantasy sports day!

Subsequently, various sports competitions unfolded, featuring activities tailored to different grades and characteristics. From tug-of-war, group jump rope, two-legged races, and frisbee accuracy contests to the thrilling team relay, the cheers of the Wagor children echoed through the sky.

Principal Shen expressed in his opening speech that Wagor International School has been continuously innovating in various aspects such as its environment, facilities, and technology in recent years, all to provide the best learning atmosphere for every Wagor child.

The highlight of the day was the intense tug-of-war competition between the dazzling white magic team, composed of foreign teachers, and the cool white magic team led by the Parent-Teacher Association President, Hong Yikai. With both sides poised and giving their all, under the resounding whistle, the Wagor Magic Academy sports day concluded with a perfect finale.

開幕式熱場表演首先登場的是本校推廣部課程-啦啦舞蹈，以創新的編排方式透過孩子精神抖擻的動作，將啦啦隊舞蹈表演得熱情洋溢、活潑有勁。接著上場表演的是本校街舞校隊，他們將本屆運動會主題「葳格魔法學院」以話劇融入舞蹈的模式，展現出整齊劃一的力與美，每位孩子豐富的表情與動感十足的氣勢，更是讓現場嘉賓眼睛為之一亮。

緊接著，全校師生化身為葳格魔法學院的魔法師華麗登場，場面壯觀富有創意，好不熱鬧！接著上場的是，活潑有朝氣的大會舞表演，是由林玟諺老師指導全體二年級孩子，利用哈利波特小劇場開啟魔法鑰匙及Skull & HaHa，所演唱的釜山度假作為開場舞曲，展現孩子健康可愛的模樣。孩子們可愛的舞蹈動作，更散發出神采飛揚的精神。

開幕活動中最讓人驚豔的，就是守護葳格的神獸「魔法葳豹」與「葳力波特」出現會場，他們同時一起與葳格創辦人、執董、總校長、校長、會長與現場滿滿的葳格孩子啟動神奇的魔法石，最後，當所有師生大聲喊出「魔力啟動、Wagor Sports～～～～～」，這瞬間聖火被葳力咒語點燃，迸發出五顏六色的彩帶與色彩繽紛的氣球，大家驚呼的看著氣球徐徐向天空飄揚，此時，葳格魔法學院的奇幻運動會正式展開！接下來，各項運動競賽陸續登場，依照年級與特性設計出多項運動與趣味競賽活動，從拔河、團體跳繩、兩人三腳與飛盤擲準大賽，還有緊張刺激的大隊接力，更是讓葳格孩子的加油聲響徹雲霄！

葳格國際學校小學部西屯校區校長沈月清也在開幕致詞中表示，葳格國際學校近年來在環境、設備、科技等各方面都不斷的要求與創新，為的就是要給葳格的每一個孩子最優質的學習環境。當天活動的壓軸，是由外師組成的炫白魔法隊與家委會會長洪義凱所帶領的酷白魔法隊，進行熱血的拔河大賽，兩方蓄勢待發、卯足全力的模樣，在響徹雲霄的哨音下，讓葳格魔法學院運動會，沸騰的畫上完美的句點。
